Dr. Hallet Mathews
Dr. Mathews is vice president of medical affairs for Medtronic Spinal and Biologics in Memphis, TN. He also is an associate clinical professor of orthopaedic and neurologic surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia. Prior to joining Medtronic, Dr. Mathews served as president of MidAtlantic Spine Specialists.
Doctor Mathews received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia, completing his residency program with an emphasis in spine.
He is a current member and has served on the boards of the North American Spine Society, Spinal Arthroplasty Society, International Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, and International Intradiscal Therapy Society. He also is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and has served on the editorial boards of Spine, The Spine Journal, Computer Aided Surgery, and the Journal of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.
